Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting senior analysts in analyzing healthcare programs. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience should demonstrate the following:
--experience has been progressively analytical or administrative, or clinical management or supervisory experience in the health care field and was performed in an operating health care facility or a higher organizational echelon with advisory or directional authority over such facilities. This work involved a close working relationship with facility managers and analysis and/or coordination of administrative, clinical, or other service activities, and provided knowledge of the following: Missions, organizations, programs, and requirements of health care delivery systems; Regulations and standards of various regulatory and credentialing groups; and Government-wide, agency and facility systems and requirements in various administrative areas such as budget, personnel, or procurement.
--successfully completed a masters or equivalent graduate degree with major study in one or more of the following: hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR
--successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a masters degree with major study in one or more of the following: hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR
--obtained an LL.B. or J.D. (only if the education is related to the position being filled) with major study in one or more of the following: hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR
--combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
