The FMWRC mission is to create and maintain "FIRST CHOICE" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.

An MWR (Morale, Welfare, and Recreation) career offers you an opportunity to work in an organization that serves our Nation and those who defend it worldwide.  MWR provides services to Soldiers, Families, Retirees, and Civilians.  As a Cashier - Checker you will receive cash or credit card in payment and give change as required at the Post Restaurant.  You will account for all moneys and transactions at the end of a shift, clean counters and complete required reports.

This is a Flexible (FLEX) position with no guaranteed hours.  Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits.

As a Cashier - Checker your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receive cash or credit card in payment
  • Give change as required
  • Account for all moneys and transactions
  • Assist in Inventory
  • Clean counter or serving area
  • Interact with customers in a courteous manner
  • Complete required reports

The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at a level necessary to complete required reports.


Conditions of employment:

 

1. A one-year probationary period may be required upon selection.

2. You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

3. 7. Position requires Day and/or Night hours.

Conversion of employment category (from Flex to RPT/RFT) may be accomplished without further competition in accordance with AR 215-3.
