GS-05: In order to qualify, applicants MUST demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level in the Federal Service OR successful completion of a full four year course of study leading to a Bachelor's degree with major study of at least 24 semester hours in any combination of courses such as biology, chemistry, statistics, entomology, animal husbandry, botany, physics, agriculture, or mathematics. At least six semester hours must be directly related to th eposition such as crop science, agronomy, and soil science.
GS-06: In order to qualify, applicants MUST demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 graade level in the Federal Service OR successful completion of one half year of graduate education directly related to the position.
GS-07: In order to qualify, applicants MUST demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal Service OR successful completion of one year of graduate education directly related to the position.
Specialized experience is experience directly related to the position to be filled. The Specialized Experience requirements for this position are:
1. Knowledge of crop science, soil science, or agronomy in order to support on-going research related to oilseeds.
2. Ability to operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, such as pH meters, analytical balances, leaf area meters.
3. Abillity to collect, record, analyze and summarize experimental data using a personal computer and related software.
