To Qualify applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-11). Specialized experience is defined as: experience in developing, testing, and implementing the automated occupational and environmental health readiness system software releases and system reports. The work includes analyzing data, training automated occupational and environmental health readiness system end users, initiating system workarounds, and advising on system matters.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities)in the following areas:
· Knowledge of automated occupational and environmental health readiness system
· Skill in resolving automated occupational and environmental health readiness system problems
· Skill in developing training curricula
· Skill in maintaining automated occupational and environmental health readiness system database

Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

To meet basic educational requirements for the GS-11(or equivalent):
All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions. Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

HOW YOU WILL BE EVALUATED:

Basis for Rating: Qualified candidates will be assigned to one of three quality categories: Best Qualified, Highly Qualified and Qualified. Veteran preference eligibles are listed ahead of non-preference eligibles within each quality category.
