The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) - The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is the research institute of the National Institutes of Health which supports more than 85% of the world's research on drug abuse and addiction. NIDA disseminates research findings to inform the Nation's prevention and treatment efforts as well as to guide the Nation's drug policies. An Administrative Officer in our Intramural Research Program provides a full range of administrative services including, among other things, travel arrangements, human resources services, and purchasing to advance the Institute's research into drug use and abuse.
