The FRTIB is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as a Project Management Leader in the Office of Enterprise Planning.  The incumbent will be responsible for planning and managing cross-departmental projects at the Agency and ensure that the discipline of project management is employed generally and effectively throughout the Agency.

·               Coordinates with and across Agency departments to determine how to appropriately segment project efforts for ease of management and control.

·               Develops project plans and project schedules.

·               Communicates with stakeholders, Agency and contractor staff on project issues.

·               Measures project progress and achievements.

·               Keeps current on project management tools and techniques.

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the specialized experience as described below:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level which involved experience analyzing, planning, and carrying out major projects in the area of defined contribution plans, benefits, or investments; and demonstrating proficiency in project management tools; and work that is typically in or related to the work of the position being filled.


Education may not be substituted for experience at this grade level.

Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as Time in Grade, minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements by the close date of this announcement.

Time-in-Grade: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must meet the Time in Grade Requirement, which is 52 weeks of Federal Service at the next lower grade, (GS-13).
