As a Management/Program Analyst in the Office of Administration and Personnel, you will perform a variety of complex management and program analysis assignments.

  • Analyzes and evaluates management practices and methods, and the administrative operations of an organization.
  • Develops and/or modifies procedures for carrying out managerial or administrative functions within an organization.
  • Employs qualitative and quantitative methods, procedures and systems for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization.
  • Advises managers and program officials on management or program-related policies and procedures.
  • Review and evaluates established managerial policies and procedures to determine gaps.
  • Formulates and recommends additional policies or procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial or program operations.

GS-12: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or higher in the Federal service assessing the effectiveness of organizational management and administration operations; utilizing analysis tools and techniques; and recommending modifications and/or new approaches to issues affecting an organization’s efficiency and effectiveness.


Education is not applicable for this position.

Time-in-Grade: Career or career-conditional current and former Federal employees who select to apply under merit promotion procedures must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade level of this position.

 

Conditions of Employment:

 

1.
