The position serves in a key fire management role as a Wildland Fire Operations Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to provide operational oversight and planning of wildland fire suppression activities, and specialized expertise in an assigned area.
These are permanent positions with varying tours of duty and may include weekend work. Some positions may have irregular and protracted hours of work. Tours of duty include full-time or less than full-time (guaranteed minimum 6 months/13 pay periods of full-time employment). You will then be placed in a non-pay/non-duty status for the remainder of the year.

- Minimum of 90 days of wildland firefighting experience is required.
