This position is a Senior Electronics Technician in the Avionics and Instrumentation Branch, Maintenance Division, Flight Operations Directorate, Dryden Flight Research Center. The incumbent is responsible for technical management of a variety of complex avionics systems and equipment on aerospace research aircraft and vehicles. The incumbent is also responsible for the planning, coordinating, and accomplishing complete major avionics related projects entailing the design, development, modification, repair, maintenance, fabrication and installation of prototype, modified and non-standard avionics systems, equipment, and parts. Some of the Avionics systems supported are: Communications, Electrical, Flight Control, Instrumentation, Navigation, and Video.
