This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of the Cheif Information Officer (OCIO), Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO).

Establish and maintain expertise in the field of information technology investment management; serve on panels and committees; communicate with colleagues, agency management, contractors, and other contacts outside the agency to gather and analyze information; coordinate the activities of key functional aspects of the Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO) program; establish ITIO standards, policies and guidelines to ensure appropriate application, implementation and compatibility with Federal and Departmental technical standards; provide authoritative program-related advice, information and guidelines regarding current and future information systems concepts, doctrines, methods, practices, operations and technologies.

You must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. This particular experience must have equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. The specialized experience are: expert knowledge in developing and presenting oral and written recommendations clearly and concisely based on analysis and evaluation of program data; ability to provide technical advice, guidance, and recommendation; strong analytical skills to develop, analyze and correlate data from various sources to make sound and actionable decision; skill in negotiating effectively with various Information Technology stakeholders; knowledge of service desk management.
