Salary range:

  • GS-09; $55,413 - $67,878
  • GS-11: $67,047 - $82,131
  • GS-12; $78,355 - $96,436

Promotion potential:  Positions may be filled at either grade levels.  The highest grade level for this position is GS-12, if selected at the lower grade.

THIS POSITION HAS PROMOTION POTENTIAL TO THE GS-11 AND GS-12 GRADE LEVEL. PROMOTION TO THE NEXT GRADE LEVEL IS AT MANAGEMENT'S DESCRETION AND IS BASED ON YOUR DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO PERFORM THE HIGHER GRADE DUTIES, THE CONTINUING NEED FOR HIGHER LEVEL DUTIES, AND ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL.

Relocation Expenses Paid:  Relocation expenses are authorized and will be paid only if you are a current Federal Employee. You will be required to sign a One-Year Service Agreement. Failute to fulfill the one year service agreement may result in repayment of relocation expenses.

Duties

  • Through advanced competence in primary health care, proivdes direct, comprehensive nursing, preventative and therapeutic health services to individuals, families, and groups.

·Manages the care of selected patients and provides treatment, evaluates the effectiveness of care and changing or modifying treatment.

·Provides health teaching, counseling, guidance to individuals and families so that they participate in a plan of care.
