This position also has a minimum education requirement.
You must have a degree in economics that included at least 21 semester hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.
A combination of education and experience: courses equivalent to a major in economics, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.

- Skill in modeling economic concepts especially in conducting cost benefit analysis, distributional analysis and beneficiary analysis.
- Skill in applying economic principles, theories, concepts, methods, and techniques, to issues of economic development or developing countries with important economic policy implications.
- Skill in preparing comprehensive reports and papers that provided recommendations in a complex and critical area of economic analysis.
- Skill in working in developing countries and on developing country issues, especially as it pertains to providing sophisticated and authoritative economic guidance and analysis.
- Skill in working with packages used for statistical analysis such as STATA, SAS, SPSS as well as MS Excel.
