The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is accepting applications for our Nuclear Safety Professional Development Program (NSPDP). The NSPDP is a two-year developmental program (DP) for outstanding individuals in engineering and physical science. The NRC is an organization that clearly impacts today's world. Our compelling mission is to regulate the Nation's civilian use of byproduct, source, and special nuclear materials to ensure adequate protection of the public health and safety, to promote the common defense and security, and to protect the environment. Our role focuses on nuclear power plants but also encompasses nuclear-focused medicine programs, various industrial applications, and beyond. RECRUITMENT INCENTIVE: A recruitment incentive of 10% of your starting salary is available to eligible selectees, depending on verification of your final GPA.
INTERVIEW: Expenses associated with interview and/or travel will be paid. The starting salary for positions in the Development Program (DP) is:
GG-07: $61,342 per annum
GG-09: $66,123 per annum
GG-11: $80,011 per annum
