The Information Technology Specialist (Team Leader) has direct oversight and management of the IT workflow to accomplish the critical missions of the Inter-American Foundation, the duties include:
* Lead workflow of IT technical team.
* Develop and implement agency security policies, procedures, and Federal agency mandates.
* Maintain an accurate list of all configurations, the system they are used for, and the equipment installed on for users.
* Serve as COR or Alternate COR to direct contractor efforts in support of software and hardware systems.
* Train and/or coordinate training for IAF staff and/or IT team.
* Conduct assessments and audits to ensure the most effective use of IT resources.
* Plan, design, implement, and manage the agency’s IT enterprise structural framework.

Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled.  Specialized experience for this position includes but not limited to:  troubleshooting software and systems; developing security tools; system maintenance and experience providing expert advice on technology programs.

Relocation Expenses:

Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses for this position will not be paid.
