As a Public Health Analyst (Policy), you will be responsible for (1) providing leadership, direction, and management for the organization in the development and maintenance of initiatives to advance the mission of the organization, and support capabilities to plan, direct, and coordinate national and regional progress on issues related to public heath and human services; (2) conducting complex analyses for the purposes of developing recommendations to leadership and position statements on issues related to public health and human services policy; and (3) providing advice on the development, direction, and coordination of program planning, evaluation, legislative, regulatory activities, budget initiatives, and policy issues as they related to the organization.

For GS-13 Grade Level:

Have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service identifying, reviewing, and analyzing complex public health legislation, policy issuances, and directives to identify any potential impact on the activities of the organization; proposing public health program and other changes necessary to respond to changes in policy.

For GS-14 Grade Level:

Have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service developing, monitoring, implementing, and evaluating complex public health legislation, directives, and policy issuances involving organizations from multiple sectors at the community, State, national and/or international levels; analyzing and/or identifying concerns or conditions of relevance and importance to the activities of the organization; and conducting research of data from diverse resources.


 

 

 

Conditions of Employment:
