Basic Qualification Requirements:
Have a degree that included or was supplemented by major study in education or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position.
Have a combination of education and experience with courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study described above.
In addition, you must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal Government obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing training programs for graduate and professional level students in biomedical sciences; administering and revising established training programs for biomedical research students; designing and implementing administrative and business processes associated with training programs; interacting with educational institutions to identify new developments and training opportunities in biomedical research for students; and providing technical advice and assistance to biomedical research students on training opportunities, requirements, and related issues.

- Well Qualified for those who excel in the evaluation criteria
- Qualified for those who only meet the minimum qualification requirements
Candidates determined to be Best Qualified will be referred to the hiring manager for further consideration and possible interview. The Category Rating Process does not add veterans' preference points, but protects the rights of veterans by placing them ahead of non-preference eligibles within each category.
