  • Perform a variety of complex management/program analysis functions and serve as an advisor and senior consultant to executives, managers, and operational personnel on diverse, difficult, and/or complex issues relating to administrative, management, and/or program operations.
  • Evaluate activities to identify problems or the need for re-evaluations of resources.
  • Oversee the development of policy; establish policy; evaluate existing policy; and provide solutions to issues that arise.
  • Compile, prepare, present, and defend recommendations, findings, briefings, narrative summaries, and statistical analysis in complex written reports and documents to executive management and external entities. GS 13:
  • Perform a variety of highly complex management/program analysis functions and serve as an advisor and senior consultant to executives, managers, and operational personnel on diverse, difficult, and/or complex issues relating to administrative, management, and/or program operations.
  • Compile, prepare, present, and defend recommendations, findings, briefings, narrative summaries, and statistical analysis in complex written reports and documents to executive management and external entities.
  • Developing new or modified administrative program policies, goals or objectives.
  • Researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices for application to agency programs or operations.
  • Assessing current organizational/program assignments and responsibilities through research, interviews, and observations.

    Policy has been implemented wherein support employees entering a position through a competitive OR non-competitive action may be precluded from moving to another position within the Bureau by means of reassignment or change to a lower grade for a minimum of 12 months.

     

    All selectees, with the exception of current FBI employees, will be required to serve a one-year probationary period. Generally, following a COST TRANSFER you will be eligible for transfer after completing three years in the assignment. Additionally, NO COST TRANSFER require a one-year assignment commitment to be eligible for further FBI transfers.

     

    Relocation expenses will be borne by the selectee, except FBI employees returning from Legat assignment.
