Duties include but are not limited to:
-Serves as the Executive Assistant to the Medical Center Director providing a full range of staff support functions for the executive management team, participating in leadership level discussions and meetings.
-Handles routine day-to-day operational matters within the office, as well as resolving more complex, non-routine matters not requiring action by the Pentad.
-Integrates administrative and clinical requirements/needs into effective health care programs.
-Prepares recommendations and proposals for consideration by higher-level management officials.
-Works to develop strategies for patient driven care and access, identifies, recommends and implements training and programs that will improve efficiencies and increase patient satisfaction, as well as staff awareness.
-Supervises other Health Systems Specialist and Program Support staff.
-Participates in efforts to diffuse best practices and Lean principles within the organization.
-Performs complex data analysis, coordinates site visits, assists with accreditation preparation, and completes special projects.
-Other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

Specialized Experience: Applicants must be assigned to a permanent GS-14 grade level or higher position with supervisory or managerial experience. Must be able to address novel situations, conflicting program goals and objectives, to resolve areas of uncertainty, and to render personal value judgments as to a course of action.
