As a Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

GS-13: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is experience which is directly related to this position and that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position as outlined above. The specialized experience includes, but is not limited to, supporting all management/supervisory levels with knowledge of government and local laws, policies, and regulations regarding classification, pay administration, staffing, labor relations and employee benefits; formulating and implementing VAMC policies and procedures relating to the above specialty areas; serving as an advisor for budget hearings and management briefings, and determining authorized FTEE.
