Managing the planning, scoping, design, acquisition, construction, and direction of assigned projects with a Military Program segment. Programs established at agency and/or congressional levels, and represent different funding sources. Programs include Military Construction (MILCON) and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), Operations and maintenance for Military installations (SRM), HTRW and FUDS projects. Projects support military installations (e.g., Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps), and range from military family housing, medical clinics and highly sophisticated test facilities; repair and maintenance of existing facilities on military bases; environmental clean-up activities to include asbestos removal, soil and groundwater remediation, construction of related facilities, e.g., wastewater treatment plants, and all activities required to accomplish Army installation disposal. Projects are located in a five state geographic area (California, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Arizona).

Experience required:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Project Management experience involving Department of Defense and other federal agencies facility projects or programs, environmental restoration projects or programs; management of project milestones, scoping and/or budgets for facility design/construction, renovation, or environmental restoration project or program products; coordinating responses to correspondence, inquiries, or directives requiring design, construction and/or environmental actions.
