Performs detailed clerical and/or technical support within the framework of established supply management guidelines by applying standardized supply practices. May be responsible for inventory control of all assigned supplies, main storage, and various facilities by conducting monthly and quarterly inventories, providing report of findings, and ensuring all property is tagged and accounted for. Responsible for distribution of the supply identification system by ensuring all incoming and outgoing non-disposable property are scanned and accounted for in the Asset Computer Tracking System. Responsible for property utilization by ensuring all furniture and electronic equipment are not abused. Responsible for shipping and storage of lost and found parcels and printed matter. Schedule and conduct runs disposing unserviceable goods and relocate furniture and appliances where required. Responsible for dispatching Government vehicles, scheduling maintenance and completing monthly reports.
Responsible for replenishment, receiving and restocking of all supplies. Responsible for picking up supplies from designated locations both on and off base utilizing a government vehicle. Establishes stock levels for individual items on a selective basis. May establish and revise reorder frequencies. Adjusts and/or maintains inventory and stock property records. Receives and screens lists or other documents specifying the items or material needed for work operations. Receives items of material maintaining them in bins or other local storage areas, keeps local stock records, reorders when items are low, and prepares standard reports utilizing the Asset Computer Tracking System.
Responsible for the accountability of all incoming and outgoing uniforms for the employee uniform program. The program consists of receiving dirty uniforms from employees, issuing clean uniforms, and verifying quantities of each item and provide receipt to each individual. May be required to place orders and research sources for purchasing in the absence of Purchasing Technician.
Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards. Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EVALUATIONS:
A minimum of one year of experience that demonstrates knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, shipping terms, and procedures. Knowledge of work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. Ability to operate Asset Tracking System and related office machines. Knowledge of business mathematics. Lifts and carries objects up to 55 lbs independently and objects over 55 lbs with assistance. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to obtain a government driver’s license.
