Sam Rayburn once said "When I get away from Washington, I don't want to go anywhere else in the world but home". The Bonham area enjoys moderate sunny weather. Winters are mild with temperatures ranging from the 30s to the 50s while summer temperatures range from the 70s to the 90s.Bonham's average rainfall is about 30 inches, and average snowfall is only 2 inches. Apartments, condominiums and both new and older homes are plentiful in the surrounding area.
Reasonable housing prices contribute to Bonham's low cost of living. The area has excellent primary and secondary schools. Several colleges and universities are located within reasonable commuting distance, as well as several two-year colleges. Area parks and lakes combined with beautiful sunny skies makes Bonham a great place to slow down and enjoy some outdoor fun. If you're looking for a peaceful, family oriented home with beautiful weather and scenery, Bonham may just be the place for you!
