This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas.
The brand new IACH, a $347M facility, opened in October 2016. Now a 47-bed facility, IACH is working to expand services with a total of 6 OR's and 2 Endoscopy Rooms. Additionally, IACH will add Sleep Lab services in the near future, and an in-patient behavioral health unit. In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Degree: Successful completion of at least a four-year Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy recognized by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education.
Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
Medical Requirement: Applicants must be able to distinguish basic colors.
Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: performing a variety of duties requiring the professional training and licensure of a Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals; and
performing a variety of duties requiring the professional training and licensure of a Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of prescription pharmaceuticals; and participating in the development of annual medication safety goals and objectives for the pharmacy department and the Medical Treatment Facility.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
