Fort Leavenworth Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Division (FMWR) is recruiting for flex/intermittent Lifeguards to support their aquatics program through the summer. The FMWR at Fort Leavenworth offers social, fitness, recreational, educational, and other programs and activities that enhance community life, foster soldier and unit readiness, promote mental and physical fitness, and generally provide a working and living environment that attracts and retains quality for active duty Soldiers, Family members, Retirees and the Civilian workforce.

Major duties include, yet are not limited to:
Conditions of Employment:
1. If selected, a completed and signed copy of our job application form (DA Form 3433) is required prior to entrance on duty. (Click here to view form).
2. Possess and maintain a valid Lifeguard Certificate/First Aid and CPR Certificate
3. Must be available to work shifts that could include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
4. Must complete pre-employment physical before Entrance on Duty can be established.
5. This position has specific initial background investigation and periodic re-verification requirements since its duties require contact with children.
