About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Army Cyber Command, Directorate of Intelligence (G2), Fort Gordon, Georgia serving as a multi-discipline Security Specialist providing application, guidance, and instruction on new regulations, policies, and procedures for multiple security programs.

--In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
--Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
--Must be able to obtain and maintain access to National Security Agency/Defense Intelligence Agency-accredited facilities and networks.
--Temporary duty (TDY) travel will be required 25% or less.
--Currently, ARCYBER Headquarters (HQs) is located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and Fort Meade, Maryland. The HQs is scheduled to relocate to Fort Gordon (Augusta), Georgia near the end of 2019.

Experience required: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one (1) year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: experience managing multiple Security programs, to include: Industrial Security, Personnel Security, Information Security, and Technical Security; developing and overseeing implementation of a command security policy; implementing and managing collateral and SCI policy pertaining to Personnel Security, Information Security, and Technical Security; providing oversight and management of an Electronic Security System (ESS) and Access Control System (ACS) program; and/or implementing the program for collateral and SCI-related security inspections, security education and awareness training, and staff assistance visits. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12). Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled.
