The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Establish goals to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Identify, develop, and gather information required for use in the management and direction of numismatic programs.
- Analyze management information requirements to develop reporting that includes system data gathering, analytical techniques, and system evaluation methodology. Develop conclusions, options, and recommendations that address uncertain, unpredictable issues that affect long-range program performance. Uncertain, unpredictable issues, such as the marketability or popularity of new products and programs, are studied by the incumbent based on analyses of past product performances and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of line program operation in meeting established customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develop life cycle cost analyses of projects or perform cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs; perform cost analysis for current and projected processes and programs.
The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
