Serves as a Security Specialist responsible for the implementation of policy and management of the Battalion's Physical, Personnel, Information, and Operational Security Programs as it pertains to the protection of classified information, personnel, facilities, and resources to combat criminal, terrorist, or other hostile intelligence activities.

To qualify
based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Knowledge of Commonly Applied Security Principles, Concepts, and Methodologies; Ability to use Security Regulations and Directives; Skill in Working with Security Equipment Devices, Intrusion
Detection Systems, and Electronic Communications Programs; Skill in Advising all Levels of Management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-09). Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled.
