SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The purpose of this position is to provide analysis, validation, processing and correction of financial transactions and issues/problems involving the full range of financial management services and accounting functions. Incumbent uses complete understanding of interrelated systems and processes across multiple functional areas and their interoperability to ensure the validity and accuracy of all disbursements, collections, and adjustments related to financial records.

a. GENERAL Experience. Experience, education, or training in progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work which demonstrates the candidates' ability to communicate with individuals at different levels in order to assist and provide information. b. SPECIALIZED Experience. Must have at least 6 months experience in gathering, compiling and presenting information for higher level review. Experience that has demonstrated that individual has knowledge of a functional filing system. Experience preparing and distributing reports in a timely manner.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to six months of specialized experience for GS-05 positions.
MILITARY TECHNICIAN COMPATIBILITY: Prior to placement in this position, the selected candidate must be assigned to a valid position in the unit of employment, and be assigned militarily in DAFSC 6F0X1.
