This position is located at the Eugene Healthcare Center part of Roseburg, Healthcare System. The section, care line, or department description and patient/resident population served is as defined in applicable Scope of Service.
This Position assists and cares for patients in the outpatient setting, communicates with other members of the healthcare team regarding patient concerns and personal observations. Demonstrates the ability to provide a full range of practical nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems. Demonstrates the ability to provide effective education to Veterans, family, and other internal and external stakeholders regarding common disease processes, medications, and treatment plans as developed by the RN or LIP. Demonstrates technical proficiency in initiating, performing, and completing assigned duties in providing care to variable and complex patient/resident population.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 04:30; extended hours may be required at a future duty when the health care center is fully operational.
