The incumbent functions as the outpatient Behavioral Medicine Service (BMS) Program Manager for
the Evansville Indiana Health Care Center (EHCC), Vincennes, Indiana Community Based Outpatient
Clinic (CBOC), Owensboro, Kentucky CBOC, and Hanson, Kentucky CBOC. Program management
duties will span across Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky.
Administrative duties include the direct supervision of multiple disciplines such as psychology, social
work, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and allied health staff, etc. In addition
administrative duties include coordination of medical staff, administrative support staff and assisting
with coordinating nurses.
The incumbent reports directly to the Associate Chief of BMS and serves as a secondary advisor to the
Chief of BMS.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotation to include on-call rotation, nights, and weekends.

Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. KSAs for GS-12 level, the candidate must demonstrate the KSAs below:
1. Advanced knowledge in program planning and development of policies and procedures.
2. Ability to make key decisions in the hiring and identification of top candidates.
3. Ability to provide leadership in facilitating the process of coordinating program consults, assessments, admissions, care assignments and discharges.
4. Ability to provide subject matter consultation.
GS-13 Level: Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. In addition to meeting the KSAs for GS-12 level, the candidate must demonstrate the KSAs below:
1. Ability to make judgments and decisions associated with program management.
2. Ability to monitor program outcomes using data driven quality assurance process.
3. Ability to develop productivity standards appropriate to each service provided.
4. Ability to manage a wide range of programs which include the operation and management of key clinical, training or administrative programs.
