The incumbent functions as the outpatient Behavioral Medicine Service (BMS) Program Manager for the Evansville Indiana Health Care Center (EHCC), Vincennes, Indiana Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC), Owensboro, Kentucky CBOC, and Hanson, Kentucky CBOC. Program management duties will span across Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky.
Administrative duties include the direct supervision of multiple disciplines such as psychology, social work, professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, and allied health staff, etc. In addition administrative duties include coordination of medical staff, administrative support staff and assisting with coordinating nurses.
The incumbent reports directly to the Associate Chief of BMS and serves as a secondary advisor to the Chief of BMS.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotation to include on-call rotation, nights, and weekends.

Basic Requirements:
Experience, Education and Licensure. Individuals assigned as Supervisory Social Workers must be licensed or certified at the advanced practice level and must be able to provide supervision for subordinate staff to qualify for licensure. Their experience must demonstrate possession of advanced practice skills in a specialty area or in administration demonstrating progressively more professional competency and judgment. They may have certification or other post-master's degree training from a nationally recognized professional organization or university that includes a defined curriculum/course of study and internship, or equivalent supervised professional experience.
In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the professional KSAs in subparagraph (b) below.
1. Ability to independently organize work, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines.
2. Knowledge and skill in management/administration, which includes supervision, consultation, negotiation, and monitoring.
3. Ability to ensure provision of clinical social work services by supervised social workers.
4. Ability to provide administrative supervision and clinical supervision, including supervision for social work licensure.
