Psychiatrist/Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
The VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS), Fresno, CA., is looking for a full-time academically oriented Psychiatrist to work in our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. The psychiatrist will with an interdisciplinary team of Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and several other allied mental health professionals. The Veteran population is diverse with many mental health related issues and medical co-morbidities. One of the primary functions will be assignment to a PTSD Clinical Team (PCT).
The VACCHCS is a core training site for the University of California San Francisco, Fresno Medical Education Residency Program. With a faculty appointment, opportunities for resident supervision, teaching, and clinical research will be available. This position also has an academic appointment with University of California San Francisco UCSF.
