RN - Medical/Surgical Float Pool
The Float Pool RN will be working in the Primary & Specialty Medicine Service Line. Inpatient units serviced by the Float Pool nursing staff include 2L (Surgical, 36 beds), 3L (Med/Surg/Telemetry, 32 beds), and 3F (Med/Surg/Telemetry/ Chemo, 21 beds). Each unit is organized to provide a wide range of services which require highly specialized nursing care of critically ill medical-surgical patients. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required for the assessment and observation as well as implementation of treatment for this patient population. The RN is required to be ACLS/BLS certified. As a Float Pool RN, your responsibilities will include:
