The Hospitalist position is located within the Medical Service of the Dayton VA Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio. The incumbent will supervise a group of Hospitalists within Medical Service.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following: responsible for primary and consultative physician services to acute inpatients; work closely in interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, well-coordinated medical care. Clinical, as well as administrative, duties are expected.
Preferred: Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABIM Physician (Hospitalists) with experience in Acute Inpatient care. Applicant have ACLS and active BLS certification.
Work Schedule: Typically 1st Shift (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) varied tours/hours as needed for service.
