The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, Charleston, SC, is seeking an outstanding Associate Chief of Staff, Education Service (ACOS/E) candidate to join our team to achieve great things in an innovative clinical, research, and teaching environment. As ACOS/E, enjoy the support of highly-trained staff while working in this high complexity tertiary care organization comprised of the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center and six (6) community based outpatient clinics. As a leader in an environment that supports an interdisciplinary care team approach, you will serve as an integral member of the clinical leadership team with responsibility for coordination and consultation with clinical and administrative services to provide educational resources to support delivery of patient centered, high quality care and workforce development that includes a variety of well developed, multidisciplinary programs. In collaboration with the Nursing Education Department and Simulation Lab staff, you will serve as a change agent for promoting continual improvement to outpatient and inpatient quality and safety in our journey to become a high reliability organization by performing needs assessment and developing and implementing educational strategies that are relevant to the needs of our staff and in service to our veterans.
