BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Education: Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
Registration: Applicants must have active, current registration as a professional nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below-
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: For example, specialized experience in providing complete assessments of patients with a variety of trauma and emergency conditions; triages as to the nature of problems and begins care; administers medications, operates specialized equipment and responds appropriately in emergency situations.
The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain an active, unrestricted Nursing license in any State (U.S.). If the are not obtained or maintained during employment, the employee will be subject to adverse actions, up to and including removal from Federal service.
