These Licensed Practical Nurse positions are located at the VA Medical Center in Bath NY within Community Living Center under the Geriatrics and Extended Care Line.
Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Knowledge and skills necessary for concentrated effort and self-direction in carrying out the most complex practical nursing care assignments, in a variety of settings.
Serve as a member of the health care team with these complex patients and provides direct care to them on a regular and recurring basis.
Perform nonstandard and specialized practical nursing activities requiring broad work experience and demonstrated skill sufficient to resolve a range of nursing problems.
Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary care team responsible for the coverage of patient transports, as well as Community Living Center and MVAC unit coverage as needed.
Other duties as required.
