This position is located in Education Service, Central Office Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO). The incumbent serves as the Management and Program Analyst responsible for applying statistical and analytical skills to assist in meeting the strategic and business process development needs of Education Service. The incumbent:
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (9 hour compressed schedule may be approved)

Experience:
Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is characterized by a thorough knowledge of advanced management and organizational principles and practices. This experience must have provided you with a knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques in order to analyze, evaluate, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational and project operations. Also, applicant must have experience in data mining (e.g. Structured Query Language (SQL), PL/SQL, TOAD, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), SAS or Tableau or similar) to extract large data sets for data analysis.
GS-13: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level.
