The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, Nevada is seeking a highly motivated BE/BC psychiatrist to work with a Mental Health Clinic multidisciplinary treatment team. Each Mental Health Clinic psychiatrist has an assigned panel of patients. There is an opportunity to work with psychiatry residents who spend a year in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic as a part of their residency program. The psychiatrist should be eligible for a clinical faculty appointment at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. The psychiatry is expected to participate effectively in team meetings and treatment planning conferences, and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members. The psychiatrist participates in on-call duties, and performs other duties as assigned.
