The Huntington VA Medical Center is seeking a Primary Care Physician for our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Gallipolis, OH. The Physician will report to the Assistant Chief of Staff for Ambulatory Care. The incumbent provides medical care delivered to the Veterans of the region as part of the CBOC team. Candidate provides General Practice, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Preventative Medicine services to the Veteran population. Other area of responsibility will include, but not limited to:
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to physically and mentally perform the duties of staff physician under normal or emergent conditions. Moderate lifting 15-44 lbs and over with assistive devices, heavy carrying of 15-44 lbs and over with assistive devices; reaching above shoulder; use of fingers, both hands required, walking or standing up to 4 hours per day; repeated bending up to 1-2 hours per day; ability for rapid mental and muscular coordination; near vision correctable; hearing aid permitted.
