The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) is looking for the next Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This motivated executive will manage an enterprise approach to technology integration and ensure standardization in selecting, integrating, cataloging, and retiring approved technology solutions at DOT. The CTO is responsible for the identification, documentation, and implementation of enterprise technology strategy policies and guidance. The CTO will manage the Business Technology & Governance and Technology Strategy & Modernization activities within the OCIO. The CTO also interfaces closely with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the White House, General Services Administration (GSA) and other government-wide program sponsors to advance objectives of improving services and support.
