This National Guard position is for a Production Controller (Automotive), Position Description Number D1705000 and is part of the WY 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, National Guard.Learn more about this agency
The primary purpose of this position is to perform preliminary planning, long term scheduling, and analysis, for the utilization and maintenance of a variety of general and special purpose vehicles and equipment (i.e., special purpose vehicles include fire trucks, K loaders, de-icing trucks, large snow blowers). In addition serves as the Base Fleet Manager.
(1) Develops, manages and implements daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational and maintenance plans for assigned general and special purpose vehicles and a variety of equipment.
(2) Performs analysis on a wide range of production indicators to assist in improving productivity or in determining causes of production delays.

(4) Manages Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) program.
(5) The incumbent acts as the primary source of expertise for material control, to include ordering parts and equipment items through SBSS and tool inventory of tool crib and composite tool kits (CTK's) annually.

Must be employed within (153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron) to be considered.
Must submit vMPF Rip, SF-50, and previous 3 performance appraisals with application.
Must possess at least the minimum ASVAB score listed for Qualification

Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a T3/SECRET security clearance.
May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
Technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT).
The Selected applicant must complete an "I-9, Employment Verification", "OF-306, Declaration of Federal Employment", and a "Declaration of Relatives in the Wyoming Military Department" prior to the appointment date.
Military Technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses.
Acceptance of a Technician position will terminate these military incentives.
Acceptance of a permanent or indefinite position will cause termination from the Selected Reserve Incentive
Program (SRIP) and TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS).
Military Technicians in the excepted service will wear the appropriate uniform while performing as a
Veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions in accordance with Title 32 USC 709(f).

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Work involves planning, estimating, scheduling, and expediting the use of manpower, machines, and materials in the fabrication or repair of equipment and supply items by mechanical production methods.
Must possess experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
Must possess at least 24 months experience, education or training preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes. Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.
NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from (e.g. 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC 2T357, FLEET MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS.
Enlisted 2T3X7 ASVAB Requirements:
Must possess a minimum score of "41" on the Administrative portion of the ASVAB.
Medical Profile PULHES must not be greater than 333233.
Must be able to lift 40p lbs. unassisted.
Must possess a valid state's driver's license.
