- You will develop and maintain an organization information system-level cybersecurity program that identifies: architecture and IT/cybersecurity requirements, objectives and policies, and cybersecurity processes and procedures.
- You will ensure that information ownership responsibilities are established for each information system to include: accountability, access approvals, and special handling requirements.
- You will ensure the development and maintenance of cybersecurity certification documentation according to all applicable instructions by reviewing, endorsing, and making recommendations.
- You will ensure that compliance monitoring occurs, and review the results of such monitoring.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

QualificationsFor DS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band (DS-4) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of Qualifying Experience: 1) Administering, developing, and maintaining an organizations information system-level cybersecurity program; 2) Maintaining and modifying all cybersecurity assessments and authorization documentation; 3) Ensuring information systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices; 4) Notifying management of impacts to cybersecurity posture; 5) Enforcing security policies and safeguards for personnel who have access to information systems; 6) Identifying IT architecture, IT/cybersecurity requirements, IT/cybersecurity objectives and policies, and cybersecurity processes and procedures.
For DS-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the administering, developing, and maintaining an organizations information system-level cybersecurity program; 2) Assisting in the maintenance of cybersecurity assessments and authorization documentation; 3) Ensuring information systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices; 4) Enforcing security policies and safeguards for personnel who have access to information systems; 5) Assisting in identifying IT architecture, IT/cybersecurity requirements, IT/cybersecurity objectives and policies, and cybersecurity processes and procedures.

For DS-04 a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
