- Serve as Team Lead for the Application Deployment, Middleware, and Services Team, overseeing the deployment of applications, the management of middleware, automation, and services in data center & cloud computing environments.
- Oversee the development of operating procedures and implementation/updates of DevOps, and MOUs, ISAs & SLAs.
- Oversee the automation of processes needed to support efficient computing solutions and oversee/develop outreach strategies to communicate information.
- Serve as an expert and advisor in diagnosing and resolving problems in response to customer application and operations related incidents.
- Serve as Project Officer, Contracting Officer Representative (COR) or Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR).
You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
Occasional travel - You may be required to travel less than 25% of each month.

We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as leading application deployment and/or hosting projects; diagnosing and resolving computer-related incidents; and developing or reviewing information technology contract proposals.
Your answers to the on-line assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
- Skill in leading team in management and implementation of new technologies, applications, middleware management, automation, and cloud services;
- Skill in implementing new policies, and procedures including DevOps and associated technologies in data center, cloud, and hybrid environments;
- Skill in maintaining problem tracking and resolution databases;
- Skill in written communication;
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer troubleshooting techniques, requirements, methods, sources, and procedures to perform a variety of assignments involving IT customer support;
- Skill in oral communication;
