This position is located in the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Enterprise Technology Branch, Enterprise Strategies and Measurement Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of Business Process Improvement (BPI) program.

Supports the governance of Business Process Improvement (BPI) program within DIT including the development of the charter, best practices and methodology, and the development and establishment of the enterprise BPI strategy and service delivery model.
Prepares and presents written proposals to management and senior staff regarding BPI projects and related activities and drafts and maintains standards, program policies, and procedures necessary to implement and support the division-wide BPI program.
Acts as a lead BPI analyst on efforts and provides technical direction to analysts and analyzes organizational business processes, making recommendations for business process solutions; and maintaining DIT enterprise business process management systems used to track and monitor BPI initiatives.
Serves as an organizational BPI project expert, preparing project management artifacts such as vision and scope, project plans, project schedules and resource estimates, and supports and leads project planning efforts by setting project objectives, providing resource and schedule estimates, and measuring and reporting-out progress and productivity.

You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:

GRADE 14 LEVEL
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-13 grade level. Specialized experience is experience providing leadership to Information Technology (IT) Business Process Improvement (BPI) project teams to identify process improvements and oversees process improvements to reduce operational unit costs to increase quality and appropriate use of resources.
GRADE 13 LEVEL
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-12 grade level. Specialized experience is assisting and supporting the development, implementation, and operation of a Business Process Improvement (BPI) program supporting an Information Technology organization.
There is no substitution of education for the experience for this position.

Your resume and the online assessment questionnaire will be reviewed to determine whether you meet the qualification requirements outlined in this announcement. 2. Knowledge of developing, recommending, and implementing enterprise BPI best practices, including soliciting feedback on improvement processes.
3. Knowledge of applying service delivery principles, methods, and practices including plan and schedule development, resource requirement estimation, milestone and deliverable definition, activity monitoring, and accomplishment evaluation and reporting.
4. Ability to communicate orally and in writing in order to present technical information, advice, findings, and recommendations to both IT professionals and customers during meetings and presentations.
5. Knowledge of evaluating organizational processes, in an IT environment, and introducing an integrated approach to quality and continual process improvement to service delivery, project management, and execution.
6. Knowledge of BPI principles and methods within an IT organization, including qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of DIT/BPI program effectiveness.
