Welcome to the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Activities. We proudly serve Military Members, Retirees, DOD Civilians and Family members in the surrounding area. Fort McCoy is located on 60,000 acres between Sparta and Tomah, WI. Since its creation in 1909, the post has been used primarily as a military training center. Fort McCoy is known as the Total Force Training Center because this installation supports the training and mobilization of reserve and active component military personnel from all branches of armed forces. The installation's varied terrain, state-of-the-art ranges, new as well as renovated facilities, supports our military personnel with an excellent environment in which to develop and sustain the skills necessary for their mission success.
Pine View Campground, nestled in a wooded area, is bounded by Suukjak Sep Lake. Among the features of the facility are picnic and playground areas, a campground with a camp store, lodging, units a recreational equipment checkout center, miniature golf, hiking trails, and a beach. Members of the Fort McCoy community and the public may use this recreation area. Pine View is fully operational year-round. Approximately 65,000 people make use of the area annually.

- Assists patrons in the use of the facility and issues recreational equipment.
- Provides safety instructions and demonstrates use of equipment as needed.
- Ensures recreational equipment is properly accounted for by preparing sign out sheets, monitors return time, and checks condition after return.
- Meets and greets customers and answers telephone to provide information concerning the facilities, equipment, and programs. Inputs reservations for campsites, lodging units, and equipment.
- Operates point-of-sale system to sell resale items.
- Supports and participates in recreational programs, special events, social activities, tournaments, and related functions.
- Operate automatic reservation system.
