Have an undergraduate or graduate level degree with a major or equivalent in psychology AND have satisfactorily completed all the requirements for the doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) from an accredited college or university directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology is required.
IN ADDITION to meeting the basic entry qualifications requirements listed above, applicants applying for the GS-13 grade level MUST have at least 1 year of full time specialized work experience (Federal or other) at the GS-12 level that is close or similar to the work of this job. Qualifying experience includes: *Work experience in a forensic setting for a minimum of three years; *Significant work experience in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests measuring personality traits, behavioral characteristics, and cognitive functioning, in order to assist in the determination of differential psychiatric diagnoses and other aspects of forensic assessment. *Prior work experience in assessing individuals for suitability to obtain a national security clearance. *Prior work experience in the assessment of/intervention with individuals deployed to high-risk security posts on behalf of the USG.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Applicant MUST possess and SUBMIT a copy of their independent/unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in a State within the USA or one of its territories.
