Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level which is related directly to this line of work.
Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples are: Knowledge of computer operations and the integration of IT based systems for video ingest and play out systems. Knowledge and expertise to advise and consult with program Producers and Directors through all stages of production. Knowledge of domestic and international common carriers that are used to transmit and receive programs via satellite or terrestrial circuits. Supervision of technical production team including short and long term work priorities, scheduling, developing performance standards, preparing performance appraisals, identifying training needs, Experience in overseeing the resolution of technical issues, follow-up on processes and generate reports regarding results for future production benefit.
Suitability Determination: If selected, you will be subject to a security investigation to establish your suitability for federal employment. The security investigation will include, among other aspects, a review of your credit and legal history.
This position may require you to serve a 1-year supervisory probationary period
