Qualifications for the GS 7: One (1) full year of Specialized Experience (SE) equivalent to the GS 5 grade level. SE for the GS 7:
-Maintained liaison within and outside the organization.
-Provided administravtive support for training programs.
-Utilized computer software applications to track and monitor trainings and those in attendance.
-Compiled and validated information in relation to specific topics in order to present materials in a classroom setting.
-Experienced in communicating information in a classroom setting.
Qualifications for the GS 9: One (1) full year of SE equivalent to the GS 7 grade level. SE for the GS 9:
In addition to the GS 7 SE as listed above, incumbent must have:
-Operated and Maintained audio/visual equipment.

Applicants may substitute education for SE as outlined below:
GS 7: Applicant must have one (1) full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement (SAA). SAA is the completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (3.0 or higher as recorded on an official transcript, or (3) honor society.
GS 9: Applicant must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.
Qualifying education may have been gained in any field. All degrees must be from an accredited college or university.
Education completed in foreign college or universities may be used to meet the above requirements provided you can show the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
Some travel may be required.
Must successfully complete the Basic Instructor Development Course offered by the Training and Development Division.

Your application will be evaluated and rated under the FBI's Candidate Rating Procedures. Your resume and supporting documentation will be used to determine whether you meet the job qualifications listed in this announcement. If you are basically qualified for this job, your resume and supporting documentation will be compared to your responses on the online assessment questionnaire. If you rate yourself higher than is supported by your application materials, your responses may be adjusted and/or you may be excluded from consideration for this job. Your application will then be placed in one of three categories: Best Qualified, Highly Qualified, or Qualified. Names of candidates in the best qualified category will be sent to the hiring official for employment consideration. Candidates within the best qualified category who are eligible for veteran preference will receive selection priority over non-veteran preference eligibles.
