This position is located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and will be working as part of the OCIO staff. This position is part of the NASA Pathways Intern Program which is a formal training program. You may be required to perform rotational assignments in various organizations.
The Information Technology (IT) Customer Liaison and Customer Relationship Intern will work with the Chief Technology Officer, IT Acquisition Manager, and all key OCIO staff and leaders to coordinate the best possible support for NASA LaRC IT customers across the center and beyond. Specific areas of work will include: 1. Working directly with customers to understand their needs, 2. Translating customer needs into prioritized technical requirements, 3. Understanding current and emerging OCIO services available to meet customer requirements, 4. Coordinating with multiple OCIO leaders and service providers to deliver capabilities meeting customer needs, 5. Gathering and synthesizing customer feedback to influence OCIO service capabilities, 6. Contributing to training and education of the Langley Research Center (LaRC) workforce regarding OCIO services, to include guiding customers to appropriate solutions, and 7. Participating in the NASA-wide IT customer service community, building strategic relationships as needed.

Starting salary: $56,226
